A repetition is content that appears more than once in a document or set of documents. For example, the same boilerplate language may appear several times throughout a set of documents. A match is content that is repeated from similar documents that have already been translated and stored in translation memories. When a manual is updated, for example, much of the content will remain unchanged. If a translation memory is available, the workload is reduced. A project with significant repetitions and matches will be discounted in price.  Only exact repetitions or matches of whole headings, sentences or other discrete text segments will be eligible for a price reduction.
