MTM LinguaSoft client Inolex is a world leader in the production of natural personal care ingredients. As part of a rebranding campaign meant to increase the impact and visual appeal of the company’s materials, Inolex wanted to recreate some of its existing foreign-language materials to fit with its new look and logo. In some cases there were already existing acceptable translations, in others existing translations had to be adapted, and yet others needed to be translated from scratch. All of the documents had to be laid out in new templates in InDesign.
The number and different types of languages involved and the specialized chemical terminology of the materials made it a challenging job to round up the appropriate teams of translators, proofreaders, and DTP experts. The languages ranged from Western European to Middle Eastern to Asian: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.
